COVID-19 Response
The COVID-19 pandemic posed a challenge to the entire world. For us at Sunbeam, ensuring the continued education of our pupils was the primary concern.
We swiftly transitioned to online classes with our learning management system (LMS) “Ebeam”. It is designed by D2L Brightspace, a global learning innovation company and easily accommodates students, teachers, management and the admins. A secure and easy-to-use platform, it provides all the tools and resources that students and teachers may need for a productive experience.
Some noteworthy features of Ebeam include
Secure live sessions that are recorded for subsequent access.
Single log-in to access features such as live classes, discussions, quizzes, assignments.
Live updates of student’s progress.
Proctored assessments.
Clear interface for easy navigation.
Automated attendance.
Timely sharing of curriculum, circulars and messages with parents.
E-certificates and online rewards to encourage students.

On-Campus safety measures
As part of the ICSE Programme, our students undertake SUPW and are involved in community service. This broadens their perspective and gives them a chance to interact with different people.
Strict adherence to COVID-19- appropriate behaviour as per the norms prescribed by the government.
Vaccination of all eligible children.
Temperature screening of all students and staff. Anyone exhibiting symptoms is sent for preliminary examination by the school paramedic and their parents informed.
Daily sanitisation of the campus, twice.
Mandatory vaccination (2 doses) of all staff.
Wearing masks at all times.
Dedicated hand hygiene: Soaps and sanitisers are available at various places in the campus.
